Following a very successful pilot programme last summer, MY BEST SHOT is back in 2016 commissioned by Islington Council’s Summerversity programme.
Join us for a 3 day digital photography creative challenge. Learn about composition, shutter speed, aperture and lighting. SLR cameras provided and each session will have hands on digital photography.
An exhibition at the end will show large prints of each participants best shot as chosen by them. You don’t need any prior experience. Those with experience are welcomed and course will provide opportunities to up-skill.
New location shooting and a new ‘studio photography’ model will be introduced.
Each person’s best pics from each workshop is posted on our blog page, which will act as a digital portfolio of their work, which they can refer people to.
Our students last year had the following things to say:
‘I thought it would be boring, but it was the opposite. It was great to go out and shoot.’ Ryan
‘I learnt so much about composition and how changing settings could create moods.’ Laura
‘It was fun. I loved being out and about playing with the different settings on the camera to create different effects. ‘ Isis
‘It was really inspiring. I am going to change one of my subjects to photography now.’ Justin
